We sure know how to kick off a mission trip right, waking up to the smell of a delicious breakfast and listening to many of our favorite christian songs playing from the radio. Once we were all ready to go we hopped in our awesome air conditioned bus and headed to a christian school down the road.
When we got there we were told that not only was this brightly colored building a private christian school during the day but it was also the place where the Large's (the missionaries that are gracious enough to let us stay in their gorgeous villa) church plant meets for church. We quickly got to work painting and cleaning. Some of us jumped right into a pickup soccer game that had just started!
Time flew by as we worked. We cleaned up just in time to attend the school weekly chapel service and we were even invited to join in on the fun. Caitlyn and Dan lead the group in singing and Caitlyn and Micheal got to share their wonderful testimonies. It was a wonderful opportunity to get a chance to fellowship with the students and teachers.
What are we doing right now you ask? Well after our SPECTACULAR lunch that Diane made for us ...... well....... lets just say there are a few Siestas in progress!!!!
